About Medicare 212

 

Jess Joseph is a Board Certified Patient Advocate and the founder of Medicare 212 personalized Medicare help for New Yorkers.

As a licensed New York State health insurance broker and consultant he represents clients only and does not accept commissions or fees from insurance companies or other third parties.

He is the patient advocate for the 92nd Street Y Himan Brown Senior Program where he counsels members on Medicare.

As an educator, his monthly Patient Advocacy with Jess workshops at the Stanley Isaacs Senior Center recently expanded to include Paul Brown MD, PhD speaking on medical issues.

Jess has also trained and served as a volunteer ay the Medicare Rights Center and Community Health Advocates.

He is a member of the Alliance of Professional Health Advocates (APHA) and is listed in the APHA’s Patient Advocate Directory.

He holds a Certificate in Patient Advocacy from UCLA and a BA in the Humanities from the University of Chicago.

Before becoming a patient advocate, Jess enjoyed successful careers as an executive in internet marketing, direct response advertising, and bookselling. He lives in the Carnegie Hill neighborhood of New York City which has been his home for more than 40 years.
